Swing or Drive? That's really the toughest question of my life.

Do I lurk on rooftops, staring down on my city from one of the many very cool gargoyles we have here in Gotham? Or do I prowl the streets in the Batmobile (cool car but, I'll admit, a dumb name), growling down the streets catching criminals with the stereo pumping?

Yeah, it's a hard life alright.

Hey batbloggites, like the New Kids on the Block, I'm back!

After what I shall call "a sabbatical" I have returned to the internets. Badder, better, and Bat-ter (ho ho).

Rumour has been rife since my blogging hiatus that perhaps I had been "gotten to" by some nefarious person (or persons). But this couldn't be further from the truth. The truth is I got married.

Kidding.

I'm a little more relaxed now too. the old Batman was all angst and depression and brooding. The new Batman is action and quippy remarks and, I dunno, ....lasers! Sure, lasers, why not?

Gotham's crime scene is much the same. There was a new guy the other day who called himself "The Stapler". He flicked staples at me on a rooftop, so I knocked him out and handed him to the police.

Oh that's the other new thing. Batman doesn't tolerate anything anymore, heck I barely tolerate lactose. Which is not to say I'm angry, I just don't put up with as much as I used to.

For example the other day the Riddler shows up and started monologuing. Except he must've been pretty exciting because he screwed up his lines and said "Ripple me this, Batman". Robin and I fell about laughing. (which actually wasn't the best thing because Riddler managed to sneak away and burn down a factory, sorry guys, my bad)

Anyway I'm back and I'll post more soon.

Batman Returns...

Soon.

But not today because I have just got SO many things on you wouldn't believe it (including but not limited to: returning DVDs to Blockbuster)

Gotham is currently too safe, and I’m bored so let’s see what’s in the news today?

Ex-Russian Spy Poisoned In London. Hmmm, sounds interesting; but a little too far out of my jurisdiction.

Nintendo Wii has peaceful, plentiful launch in US: the Justice League had that covered just in case there were riots.

Musharraf, Blair Meet: Reiterate Resolve to Combat Terrorism: maybe it’s just me but… if you can’t punch something in the face then you want to be careful about combating it. I mean I have fought some crazy looking things (usually from space) and even they will usually have a face to punch.

Tom and Katie's fairytale wedding: Speaking of face-punching...

“World of Whatnow?” I asked.
“Warcraft” they said in unison.
“Sounds like something Adam Strange would deal with.” No one laughed so I continued, “What is it?”
“It’s a [something beginning with M]” said Oracle
“Oh, well is that really what you want to use the world’s greatest crime-solving computer for?”
“Absolutely” said Robin
“It’s got the best connection and I can run multiple characters on it” said Oracle.
“Well how long are you going to be? Word is that Two-Face is planning something”
“We’ll we’re just in this PVP battle at the moment then I promised the guild I’d help them with a raid” answered Oracle, if that was indeed an answer.
“Well, ok. Just be careful of online predators.”
I swear Robin rolled his eyes.
